A Halloween full of giggles, games, and giving back This week, our team traded toolbags for costumes and took the science out of the shop and into the Spectrum! We joined the Science Spectrum for their Silly Carnival, an event devoted to sparking curiosity and joy for the littlest learners, and we were thrilled to help bring the fun to life.
Mini-Games for Mini-Humans
Science Appliance ran several of the toddler game and experiment stations - think tiny beanbags, mountains of slime, and prizes for everyone. We cheered, high-fived, reset toppled games 10,000 times, and witnessed some of the most dramatic toddler victories ever recorded in human history. (Seriously—Olympic-level enthusiasm.)

Costumes, Characters, and Chaos
And of course, it wouldn’t be Halloween without costumes. So, of course, our team went all in. Nothing beats watching toddlers stop mid-game just to point at a costume and shout “LOOK!!!” with their whole entire soul.

Why We Show Up
Events like this are exactly why we love being part of the Lubbock community. The Science Spectrum has always been a place where families—including ours—go to learn, explore, and imagine. Supporting spaces that spark that kind of wonder means the world to us.
Being able to serve our community outside the repair shop reminds us what this business is really about: our families, the families we serve, the connections we build, and showing up wherever we’re needed.
Until Next Year…
Huge thank-you to the amazing staff at the Science Spectrum for hosting another fun, chaotic, joy-filled event. And thank you to every family who stopped by our game booths and let us be part of your child’s big day of play.
We already can’t wait to come back: costumes, chaos, and all.
